Pamela

The travel-centric American future you mean.

Could you please update your blog entry from June this year to help the non-American Tripit fans in the crowd understand why they are barred from paying for inner circle functionality? Also, can you please differentiate between the US-based services you offer and the US-based billing system you use? It seems to me that these two things have been joined for no good reason.

Thank you.

Angie Ryan

Hi Pamela,

Happily, we just launched TripIt Pro for travelers outside the US this week.

Expansion of Pro outside the US has always been part of the plan, but it has been a little more complicated to get global SMS coverage than we anticipated, so it's taken longer than we would have liked for us to offer it to travelers.

As a thank you to all the non-US travelers who have been patiently waiting to sign up for TripIt Pro, we're offering the same $49/year charter member special we offered travelers in the US.

More information is available on our TripIt Pro page - http://www.tripit.com/pro

And also on our blog -http://blog.tripit.com/2009/10/tripit-pro-now-available-worldwide.html

Thanks for your feedback!
