I downloaded the application this morning on my iPhone. It's terrific!! Major kudos to the tripitup team for creating such a helpful and simple to use tool for us busy business travelers. I rarely have time to format my itineraries in a simple layout. You do such a great job with it!
My suggestion: I'd love to see future versions allow for updates to be made from within the application on the iPhone.
Keep up the great work!

Why no online check in option for iPhone? This would be especially helpful for SWA.

Is there a plan to develop this applications for Blackberry? What is the target date for the BB release?

The iPhone TripIt app is one of the true revolutions in travel. Great job The combination with the online site and the iPhone app is so seemless. The phone checkin with iPhone boarding pass will be the ultimate convenience.

Not sure what's going on but all my trips end up now as "Shared Trips" rather than "My Trips". Does it matter where it is?
Posted by: Anand | July 16, 2009 at 09:01 PM
Yeah, me too. Seems like it's fixed now.
Anyone else having their directions (destination/arrival) display backwards in Google Maps?

Is it possible to delete itineraries from the iPhone app? If not, it would be a nice feature to have.

Erm... Blackberry?

How about showing point summaries in the iPhone app? Another box after Shared Trips that lists Airline/Hotel, total points/miles and last activity. Thanks.

I have this app and it's great. However, even though I have version 1.3, I can't see shared trips using the app. Is there a way I can fix this?
Posted by: Keith | August 03, 2009 at 04:27 PM
I can't see any shared trips, just my trips?
Posted by: Peter | August 04, 2009 at 08:07 PM
I think there's, say one or two business travellers in your target market that use a blackberry (yes I'm being sarcastic)... When will we see a BB app??
Posted by: Pat | August 06, 2009 at 08:42 AM

Thank you for all of your questions and comments. I want to address a couple of the things that have come up often in your responses to this post.
TripIt BlackBerry app -
A TripIt app for BlackBerry is in development and coming soon.
See our recent blog post for more info- http://blog.tripit.com/2009/08/tripit-for-blackberry-coming-soon.html
Shared trips on the iPhone -
If you are having difficulty seeing shared trips using the TripIt iPhone app, I have a couple of quick troubleshooting tips for you.
First, try a manual sync, and see if this pushed the shared trips to the app. If that doesn't work, check your settings. Settings/TripIt/shared trips should be set to "all". If neither of these helps resolve the issue, please contact us for help at support@tripit.com.
Thanks again, and happy travels!

I have my assistant linked to my reservations, but dont want their name showing publicly. Can that information be hidden?
Posted by: LMarks | August 27, 2009 at 10:24 AM
Right now, TripIt doesn't have the option to hide the names of the people with whom you are sharing your trips, but this is a feature we're definitely considering for the future.
Thanks for your feedback!

What is the target date for the Blackberry release please? Why is TripIt concentrating on iPhone even if BBs are the business machines ... and I guess the majority of all trips is related to business ...
