Web Form Design: Filling in the Blanks

Webformdesignbook We’re flattered to see TripIt presented as an example of good web design in Luke Wroblewski’s new book Web Form Design: Filling in the Blanks. Luke is Senior Principal of Product Ideation & Design at Yahoo! and previously lead UI design at eBay, so he knows a thing or two about good design.

Luke points to TripIt’s ease of allowing people to register simply by sending an email to plans@tripit.com. He also discusses how TripIt can understand the various travel bookings you send us and make sense of them. We have worked hard to build the technology behind our email processor (the “Itinerator”) for exactly that reason – so our users don’t have to work hard to manage their trip information. Thanks for the call out, Luke!

Any plans for a tripit iphone app?

We have a mobile app that works well on iPhone at http://m.tripit.com. If folks want additional mobile features that require us to build an actual client-resident app for iPhone, of course we'd consider it. What new features are you looking for? (Might be easiest to send those via email to feedback@tripit.com.)

Nice blog !

Good job, Thanks for the information
