I *love* the ical feed --- As good as tripit is, it was a non-starter unless I could use my blackberry to get my destination while driving.

Google calendar integration coupled with the "google synch" tool (http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2007/12/google-calendar-sync-for-blackberry.html) is a pretty good solution -- I can automatically load my tripit calendar, and know that my blackberry will be synched up in a few hours.

Using (http://www.syncmycal.com/index.htm) is also a pretty good solution that I tried. This allows my tripit plans to be loaded into my main outlook calendar from my google calendar.

Now, if only you could synch the destination to my GPS, I'd be all set!

I used plaxo and decided to try to use the ical feed as described here but I can't find it anywhere on plaxo and searching for "tripit" doesn't bring anything up either. Any hints on how to actually do this...

I'd like to be able to send my calendar appointments to my tripit itinerary so that I have one document to print. Is this possible? I see that I can send my tripit items to my calendar but can't find any information on easily uploading meetings and appointments to my tripit itinerary.

Looks like Google just announced another option, official Google-Outlook sync!

@ Paul: Go to the Calendar tab, click the "calendar" in pull down lower left corner, click "Share & Manage", in the new window click the "Subscibe to iCal" near the top of the window, paste your TripIt iCal link.

Hope that helps,
Brian

I use syncmycal to sync my outlook and Google calendar and to sync my outlook and tripit ical fed google calendar. I also use the google blackberry sync. That way my outlook, tripit and blackberry are all sync'd (OTA). This way I can automatically add the tripit calendar information directly into my outlook calendar. Very neat!
